Imabari Towel MORI –towel of forest-
IORI is proud to present Imabari Towel MORI –towel of forest-, the most absorbent towel amongst IORI’s Imabari Towel Collection. We partnered with IKEUCHI ORGANIC, an Imabari Towel manufacturer dedicated to producing organic cotton products in the most eco-friendly ways possible, to create a towel that is made of 63% organic cotton and 37% organic bamboo rayon.
Organic Bamboo fibers boast 1.7x the water absorbency of traditional cotton, making Imabari Towel MORI the most absorbent Imabari Towel IORI has to offer. While high absorbency is typically associated with thick, bulky volume which is slow to dry, this towel is quite the opposite. It is a thin, quick-drying, and hyper absorbent towel, perfect for those who are looking for a highly functional towel.
Human and Environmentally Safe Materials
Bamboo is known to be one of the fastest growing trees on Earth. It takes approximately 2-3 years for a single tree to grow to full maturity. When handled properly, bamboo trees and fibers can be cultivated with minimal damage to the environment. We turned to IKEUCHI ORGANIC, an Imabari Towel manufacturer known to be obsessive with producing eco-friendly materials, to create a towel made from a blend of human and environmentally safe organic bamboo rayon and organic cotton. Look closely at the towel and you will notice two shades of thread colors. The darker color is organic cotton, and the ligher shade is organic bamboo rayon.
